I General information on data processing
1. Scope of processing of personal data
We process personal data of our users only insofar as this is necessary to provide a functional website and our content and services. As a rule, personal data of our users is processed only with the user's consent. An exception applies in cases where prior consent cannot be obtained for practical reasons and the processing of the data is permitted by law.
2. Legal basis for the processing of personal data
Where we obtain the consent of the data subject for processing operations involving personal data, Art. 6 (1) (a) of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) serves as the legal basis. When processing personal data that is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is a party, Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR serves as the legal basis. This also applies to processing operations required to take steps prior to entering into a contract. Where processing of personal data is necessary to comply with a legal obligation to which our company is subject, Art. 6 (1) (c) GDPR serves as the legal basis. In the event that vital interests of the data subject or another natural person require the processing of personal data, Art. 6 (1) (d) GDPR serves as the legal basis. If processing is necessary to protect a legitimate interest of our company or a third party and the interests, fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject do not override that interest, Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR serves as the legal basis for the processing.
3. Data erasure and storage period
The personal data of the data subject is erased or blocked as soon as the purpose of storage no longer applies. Data may also be stored beyond this if provided for by European or national legislators in EU regulations, laws or other provisions to which the controller is subject. Data is also blocked or erased when a storage period prescribed by these provisions expires, unless further storage is necessary for the conclusion or performance of a contract.
II Provision of the website and creation of log files
1. Description and scope of data processing
Each time our website is accessed, our system automatically collects data and information from the computer system of the accessing device. The following data is collected:
- Information about the browser type and version used
- The user's operating system
- The user's internet service provider
- The user's IP address
- Date and time of access
2. Purpose of data processing
Temporary storage of the IP address by the system is necessary to deliver the website to the user's computer. For this purpose, the user's IP address must remain stored for the duration of the session. Storage in log files takes place to ensure the functionality of the website. We also use the data to optimise the website and to ensure the security of our IT systems. The data is not evaluated for marketing purposes in this context.
3. Storage period
The data is erased as soon as it is no longer required to achieve the purpose for which it was collected. Where data is collected to provide the website, this is the case when the respective session has ended. Where data is stored in log files, this is the case after seven days at the latest. Storage beyond this period is possible. In this case, the users' IP addresses are deleted or anonymised so that the accessing client can no longer be identified.
4. Right to object and removal
The collection of data to provide the website and the storage of data in log files is essential for operating the website. Consequently, the user has no right to object.
III Contact by email
1. Description and scope of data processing
You can contact us via the email address provided. In this case, the user's personal data transmitted with the email is stored. The data is not passed on to third parties in this context. The data is used exclusively to handle the conversation.
2. Purpose of data processing
We process the personal data from the input form solely to handle the enquiry. If you contact us by email, this also constitutes the necessary legitimate interest in processing the data. Other personal data processed during the sending process serves to prevent misuse of the contact form and to ensure the security of our IT systems.
3. Storage period
The data is erased as soon as it is no longer required to achieve the purpose for which it was collected. For personal data from the input form of the contact form and data sent by email, this is the case when the respective conversation with the user has ended. The conversation has ended when it can be inferred from the circumstances that the matter in question has been conclusively resolved. Additional personal data collected during the sending process is erased after seven days at the latest.
4. Right to object and removal
The user may withdraw their consent to the processing of personal data at any time. If the user contacts us by email, they may object to the storage of their personal data at any time. In such a case, the conversation cannot be continued. All personal data stored in the course of contacting us will then be erased.
